“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did
for one of the least of these brothers and sisters
of mine, you did for me.'” (Matthew 25:40)
Note: because Trinity is holding virtual-only services, please plan to drive by the Youth Building to drop off your Trinitree gifts and food from 10:30am-1:00pm on Sunday, December 13. If you need someone to pick up your donations, please contact Judy Bailey or Monica Glowinski. The Missions team will distribute the Trinitree gifts and food on Wednesday, December 16 between 6:00pm-8:00pm. We need volunteers to sort gifts and food on Sunday after the Contemporary Service and volunteers to help with distribution on Wednesday at 5:30pm.
Food – Trinitrees families are given a box of food for their holiday dinner. In the past two years, we have relied on CAB for much of this food. However, CAB needs every can and bag of food they can get for people who are not participating in Trinitree. Please, please consider donating holiday food items to Trinitree so we do not have to rely on CAB or purchase food from Harvest Hope or retail grocery stores. All unused donations will be given to CAB. A suggested list of food items is listed below:

Senior Resources – Due to COVID-19, we will not be providing a holiday luncheon for the Blythewood clients of Senior Resources. We will, however, provide each client with a gift bag that includes items often used by seniors. The Missions Team will do all the shopping and wrapping of these gifts. If you would like to help finance these gift bags, please consider donating $25 per bag to the Missions team. Please mark your check or online gift that it is for Trinitree.
Volunteers – If you can donate a few hours of your time to volunteer, please consider the following and contact Monica Glowinski or Judy Bailey for details:
- Shopping/wrapping for Trinity members who do not feel comfortable in crowded stores.
- Packing the canned food in bags for distribution on Sunday, December 13 after the Contemporary Service.
- Helping with the distribution on Wednesday, December 16 from 6:00-8:00pm, including delivery where needed. Please note that the distribution will be a drive-thru. Masks are required and disposable gloves will be made available. Volunteers should plan to be at the Youth Building at 5:30pm.
Please be in prayer for this project and all those who will be touched by Trinitree.
