We’re excited to share the following update from Kate Williams, the Executive Director of Christian Assistance Bridge:
Just wanted to give everyone an update on how things have been going at CAB. As of this morning we have given out 44,830 pounds of food. We have had an increase of folks asking for financial assistance, and have stayed pretty busy.
We have been purchasing milk, eggs and cheese for our clients. A local farmer has started bringing over fresh eggs every couple of weeks, and we are partnering with Kim Seawell to purchase fresh veggies and she will deliver them once a month.
A huge thank you to Aaron Jackson and Chick-fil-a: the schools partnered with Chick-fil-a and did a food drive that was much needed for our food pantry.
Things have been going pretty smoothly– we have a few volunteers that are taking a break because of covid-19 but as of now we are still good on volunteers.
Many Blessings,
Kate Williams
