We invite all adults to join us for a program and lunch at the October Hillclimbers gathering. We will meet for a catered lunch at 11:00am in the Trinity Youth Building on Tuesday, October 4. Natalie Adams Pope will be give a presentation entitled “The Archaeological Examination of an Early War Confederate Winter Encampment on the York-James Peninsula, Newport News, Virginia.” Natalie is Executive Vice President and Archaeology Director for New South Associates. Come and hear about historic digs, preservation of sites, and much more.
Lunch will consist of smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, corn, salad, rolls, and numerous desserts. The cost is $9 per meal payable at the door.
