The 2022 Carolina-Clemson football rivalry returns and will be an opportunity for a friendly competition in local churches sponsored by the Wesley Foundations at Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. Fans of each school are invited to drop in their support in either a USC/garnet bucket or a Clemson/orange bucket as they leave/enter worship on Sunday, 20 November. The money donated will be used to support the students and United Methodist campus ministries at USC and Clemson. For more information contact Tom Wall at USC at (803) 799-7363, WallBrodie@aol.com or Steve Simoeaux at Clemson (864) 654-5547, steve.simoneaux@gmail.com.
We also hope that you show your spirit by giving non-perishable food items to CAB to help fill the immediate need of their empty shelves. CAB serves the most vulnerable members of our community who are in crisis situations – those who are facing eviction, utility cut-off, homelessness, or food and necessities shortages. The shelves at CAB continue to be bare and they need immediate assistance through donations in order to continue their work of serving our community.
Please consider giving to the Wesley Foundation chapters and CAB as you are able. We appreciate your support of these impactful ministries.
