Registration is now open for Regan Roberts Basketball League. RRBL is an instructional league for children in 1st through 8th grade. You can click the button below to register:
Started by Regan Roberts, a P.E. teacher at Bethel-Hanberry Elementary School, the league was her dream for a basketball program where children could learn the fundamental skills of the game while building life skills through team work.

Specific game times will vary, but they will typically run from 8:00am – 2:00pm. The game dates are November 4, 11, 18, and December 2, 9, and 16. The season will also include a celebration event with details to be decided.
Following her untimely death, members of Trinity UMC arranged for the league to continue in her memory. As a result, the RRBL has been operating during late fall and early winter since 1998, hosting approximately 200 players along with several hundred family members and friends who cheer them on.
Additionally, RRBL is in need of referees. Referees should be at least 16 years old with knowledge of basketball rules and an ability to communicate effectively with coaches and players. Please contact the church office at (803) 786-1637 or at coachjsimpson22@gmail.com to let us know of your interest in refereeing.
Finally, without the help of sponsors this league would not be possible. Your donations go towards team shirts, game officials, equipment, trophies, our end of season banquet, and other operating costs. Sponsors are asked to donate $250 to our league. In return, their company’s name will be placed on a team’s shirt and they will receive a plaque with their sponsored team’s picture. You can click the link below to become a sponsor. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Thank you for helping us continue Regan Roberts’s dream of youth basketball in Blythewood!
