Trinity Student Ministries
6th-12th Grades
The Youth Ministry meets Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30pm in the Youth Building.
Our students and mentors strive to live in a way that honors God.
Our hope in the time spent with us that students learn that God’s loves us more than we can imagine, we can’t earn or out sin His love and that life with Jesus’ and his community of followers is a great adventure. If you are new to Trinity UMC, welcome! We hope you’ll get in touch with Bonnie Riley and fill out our contact form so that we can get to know you. Please also take a moment to follow us on Facebook @TUMC1youth, and on Instagram @trinitystudentministriesumc. You can view our calendar of events. If you’d like to be a mentor, host an event, or provide a meal, let us know!
Youth • This is our large group event on Sunday evenings. Big games, events, teaching, music and prayer can be apart of each gathering. This is a great place to try us out for visitors or bring a friend. It’s most Sunday evenings, September through May, 6:00-7:30pm.
Goals: fun, fellowship, understanding of God’s plan for and Jesus’ place in our lives.
Connection Time • This Sunday morning (10:15-11:15am) time is where students dive deep into the scripture used during the sermon that day. With further understanding of the scripture, students would be equipped to continue the conversation beyond that morning.
Goals: Study of the Word, opportunity to ask questions, understanding the role of scripture in our lives.
Small groups • These groups are meant for deeper growth and connection. Topics could include books of the Bible, how to study the Bible, prayer life, accountability, or how to look more like Christ. We work to keep the groups smaller and divided by age. These groups will meet at various times and places.
Goals: Deep connection, accountability, strong following of Christ
TSM works to find local and international ways to serve. Through Salkahatchie Summer Service Project, roles in worship, coming along side other missions, our students find different ways use God’s gift and talents to help others.
