Immerse Retreat 2023
Trinity Student Ministries will be participating in the 2023 Immerse Retreat at Asbury Hills from November 3-5. This yearly weekend event put on by SCMYP is full of music, worship, small group time, breakout sessions, and fellowship with students from around the state. Please click the sign up link on the Trinity website to register. Registration costs $195, with the registration window closing on October 16. Please note that spots are limited and that registration will close when the camp is full. Payment is due on October 15. Christmas Poinsettias 2023
During Advent, Trinity uses poinsettias to beautify the sanctuary and offer the congregation an opportunity to honor or remember their loved ones. Light the Night Fundraiser
Help us bring light to the darkness of cancer. Trinity UMC is putting together a team to participate in the Light the Night walk at the South Carolina State House on November 2 from 5:30-8:00pm. This event is hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and commemorates and celebrates lives touched by cancer. Funds raised support research for cures and patient support services. Please join us in our fight against blood cancers as we light the night with hope. Your participation will help save lives!

2023 Flu Shot Clinic
Trinity will be holding a Flu Shot Clinic on October 15 from 8:45am to 11:15am in the Youth Building. Publix pharmacy will be offering both regular and senior (65+ high dose) flu shots as well as the pneumonia shot. Registration is required by October 1 and can be completed by using the online form on the Trinity website or by calling the church office at (803) 786-1637. From today through the end of September, the Lay Leadership Team will be accepting nominations for church leadership. It is important that anyone wishing to make a nomination for office and those accepting nominations read this document in its entirety. The process or procedure for the election of officers includes a series of steps: Nomination, Qualification, and finally Election.
Nomination forms can be found by clicking the button below or by filling out the nomination slips on the lobby tables in both services or at the Welcome Center and returning the slips to the offering plate, offering box, or to the basket in the Welcome Center. Please start by first reading the process and qualifications listed below.
CAB Food Drive

Epworth Missions Projects
The Hitchhikers Sunday School class is actively working on projects for Epworth Children’s Home; namely, (1) upgrading the Prayer Garden located to the left of the Sanctuary (cleaning up sticks/shrubbery, pressure washing and staining benches/latticework/etc., refurbishing crosses), (2) joining the Epworth residents in worship on November 12 at 5:00pm (our awesome Trinity Youth Band will be participating in the service), and (3) hosting a pizza party for the Epworth residents with our amazing Trinity youth; following the November 12, 5:00pm worship service in the Epworth gym.
